ROAD ACCIDENT FUND CLAIMS (RAF) A third party claim is a claim for compensation resulting from personal injury to or the death of a person, eg. the death of a breadwinner, in a motor vehicle accident. Such a claim will lie against the RAF, a statutory body.
Administration of deceased estates
A deceased estate comes into existence when a person dies leaving property or a document which is a will or purports to be a will. Such estate must then be administered and distributed in terms of the deceased's will or failing a valid will.
